After emerging onto the scene back in the late nineties from Australia's country music college and touring with the late Slim Dusty, Roo Arcus has sought to find his place in the pantheon of Aussie country singer songwriters. His songs that resonate with authenticity, a voice that can hold its own with the best of them, and a desire to carry the torch for traditional country music into the future. His latest album is being released during the 2015 Tamworth Country Music Festival, and in this interview Roo tells Walshy all about it.
"Since resigning as a Queensland Ambulance Officer and becoming a fulltime professional entertainer, Graham has made a huge impact on the country music industry. His name has become synonymous with the writing and recording of high quality Australian ballads." This project is close to Graham's heart: featuring eleven songs of war and conflict involving Australians. Find out more about the album in the interview with Walshy below.
