Simple observations and perfectly formed lines are key aspects of her songwriting. “I’m not coming home, I’m just coming back”, she sings in 'Things You Never Had'. It’s just one of many lines on the album that cut right to the core of her songs and establish their emotional tone so effectively. The range and conviction throughout her songs is what has already drawn many to Imogen’s songwriting and will capture the hearts and minds of new fans once they hear Love & Lovely Lies. “I love this album," she says. "It’s definitely the thing I’m proudest to put my name on so far in my life. I had a big hand in producing it myself and I’d never done that on a record before. I produced it with two great artists – Harry Hookey and Jack Hookey. We worked on it and played all the instruments together. I’ve never had a record that represented me more. It really is a snapshot of me at 20 and 21 years of age, and I’m really proud of it.” ![]() Country music star Travis Collins is no stranger to success, his last offering Wired debuted at #1 on the ARIA country albums chart, and placed top 20 in the all-genre chart.
