He has written songs for television, most notably the theme song for Australian hit series Prisoner. He has also had over 500 recordings of his songs released world wide by artists of the calibre of Cilla Black, The Irish Rovers, Patti Page, Slim Dusty, James Blundell and The Living End. But his latest album My Version of the Truth is all about Blue Mountain resident Allan Caswell.
Out now via Shoestring Records, this album is compiled of songs given their individual and undivided attention and often features guest appearances from the likes of Lachlan Bryan and Seleen McAlister.
Allan Caswell’s career as an entertainer has taken him to almost every town in NSW, every state in Australia, to New York, LA, Nashville, New Zealand, East Timor, Iraq and Afghanistan. It's fair to say that wherever he ventures to next, those who listen will find appreciation in his vivid story telling and mastery in his country musicality.

He may have found fame as one half of legendary country crew McAlister Kemp, but with this latest release Drew McAlister asserts himself as a solo musical force to be reckoned with.
His debut album Black Sky, out now via ABC Music, was produced by Drew in partnership with Ben Robertson, and serves as a public acknowledgment to those Australians who inhabit rural areas and endure the hardships that often accompany living on the land. It's a subject that is very close to his heart, due to the origin of Drew's parents rooted firmly in country Australia.
As he says in conversation with ABC Music: “It seems that at any given time in Australia’s history drought has had its claws firmly embedded within our Outback culture... I’m not on a farm, but I can see that the devastation drought causes is not going away any time soon”.
Though inspired by some of the harshest times in a rural Australia life, this album is full of optimism, hope and classic country tunes from one of our finest homegrown stars.

Not one to sugar-coat, true country larrikin Benn Gunn is back with a brand new album that is full of his signature charm and attitude.
Fresh off the success of his debut record Keep on Drivin', which held four charting singles, Gunns sophomore effort Ain't Nothin' But A Party is sure to follow it's lead.
Produced by acclaimed music producer Bart Busch and American hit songwriter Jason Patrick Mathews, the albums lead single 'Girls Like Guys With Trucks' has already turned heads as it shot straight to the top spot of the National Country Radio Singles charts.
Having been bestowed a number of titles, including Best New Talent in the 2011 Australian Independent Country Music Awards, and, most recently, the 2014 MO Award for "Slim Dustry Country Act of the Year", Benn Gunn is a force to be reckoned with.
The good times just keep on coming.

Justin Standley - Hold On To Love (Special Edition)

Since soaring into the hearts of Australians on reality show The X Factor, Justin Standley is continuing to keep the country spirit alive with yet another fantastic release.
Hold On To Love contains 13 songs that range from country dance, moving ballads and beautiful vocals - the crème de la crème of the 80 tracks initially conceived for this record. Also included is a gorgeous duet with his daughter, Charlotte, as well as appearances from word class musicians and production credits going to Matt Fell.
The themes of this record stem from the overall concept of love, but from different perspectives. While there are tales of the tumultuous nature of family life such as In The Arms of the Widow Fig, there are also more up-beat, tongue-in-cheek elements such as the cheekily titled Oh No, Not Another Love Song!
After winning the APRA/TSA New Songwriter Award back in January this year, it's fair to say this album is a testament to this well-deserved accolade.

Having gained back to back nominations in the Golden Guitar Awards in Tamworth for Bush ballad of the Year in 2013 and 2014 and a host of other accolades, Bec Hance is one of only a few women making their mark in the traditional country genre.

Fans have been taken by this singer/songwriters honest, funny, catchy and often melancholy lyrics as well as her engaging personality. Her beautifully crafted musical creations evoke many emotions within her dedicated listenership, and her latest project is set to do just the same.

Teaming up with her talented partner Pete Wilson, they combine the realism of her lyricism with Pete's classic instrumentation and composition to create an album that resonates with most as a snapshot of their daily lives.
