James Blundell is simply one of the most instantly likable, authentic and recognisable artists in Australian music.
With a fresh approach to writing new material and overseas collaborations - all from his Stanthorpe farm in QLD - the singer is now celebrating a career that spans 30 years culminating in last year's launch of his 14th album 'Campfire'. Here, James tells GMC's Kevin Walsh that the milestone has heralded a new era and he's never been happier. "I'm RE-volving I s'pose, not e-volving or de-volving," he jokes. "It was very different, you know... I'd literally just come out of sitting on a horse and working with livestock 24/7. It's been a remarkable evolution to have to step away from that primary life but then be allowed to use the experiences gained from that to create music that became a career. " |
