This week Troy Kemp from McAlister Kemp joins Walshy on the line to talk about the duo's new album, which sees the duo heading out in a bit of a new direction.
South Australia-based Amber Joy Poulton emerged onto Australia's country music scene as a Star Maker finalist in 2009, and since then as performed as Loretta Lynn in the tribute show Queens of Country, supported Kenny Rogers, and has now recorded an album with the best of the best in Nashville. Grab a cuppa and settle in to hear the interview with Amber in the audio player below.
This week's feature album is Rod Dowsett's long-awaited new one "Down to Earth", and Walshy has a good long catch-up with Rod (listen in the player below).
If you're new to Rod's work, you may not know that Rod, his wife Shelly and their dog Roadie are constantly travelling Australia in their tour bus/home on wheels. They perform at major country music festivals, pubs, clubs, markets and regular spots along the way - make sure you catch they next time they're in your town.
Produced by Kevin Walsh, the Album of the Week feature is heard live on GMC every morning. You can hear the interviews in full here.
